refitting timing belt on peugot 306 1.4 petrol engine?

i can't find the timing marks / holes and i need to refit timing belt after changing the head gasket. any advise gratefully recieved.

if no hole in bottom pulley, then hole in front of engine down by exhaust into bellhousing. small hole. should lock with tool when cam hole is matched with a hole in pulley and into head. (about 6 oclock position if i remember.)
