how can i stop citroen berlingo front brakes overheating?

new discs , pads fitted ,calipers are free moving and brakes still overheat and drag

if removing all the brake carbon and throughly cleaning the slides and ensure that they operate in and out of the caliper slide properly, replace the brake pads and brake discs as they may have warped with being overheated. Replace the caliper that is sticking along with the flexi brake and dont forget to bleed the brakes

I have also come across the flexible hoses degrading internally & blocking return pressure

I would check the calliper pistons/slide pins for free movement. When were the brakes last checked,I am amazed how people neglect them seeing how important they are.

my bet is servo is buggered. these are prone for doing this especially after brake pad change.

make sure pedal is returning against its stop, and return spring is ok.

if both front brake's are dragging it may be the master cylinder that needs changing
