All windows of my Almera Luxury 2002 work one way or the other in the crazy fashion outlined below:
1. From the driver's seat, I can open/close all except the window diagonally opposite, that is the one behind front passenger seat.
2. From driver's seat I can open/close the front passenger seat but from the front passenger seat it cannot open/close.

For the AC knob it can only select only 3 positions except for the front and side outlets, but the demistifier works fine.
