How do you get rid of about:blank when inbetween webpages?

How do you get rid of about:bland when inbetween webpages? It keeps popping-up inbetween webpages and it's not letting me go back to the previous webpage by clicking on back button. Anyone know how to get rid of this, please let me know? I have Internet Explorer with Windows XP Professional.

Try a system restore to a point before this started. It sounds like the CWS Cool Web Search virus. Google for details.
