DO I need to replace my alternator?

My vehicle keeps dieing, even after i charged the battery when it happened the first time. Is it my alternator or electronic ignition system failing?

Sounds like alternator has gone and on these cars its a problem that happens alot ......check voltage at battery when car running it should be over 13 volts and if not alt is bad
If alt shows good it could poaably be a parisictic draw on the battery

sounds like an alternator problem if you been having to charge your battery alot i think you should have your battery checked and even your alternator before your ignition system especially on a 98 some auto parts stores will check your battery for free im not to positive on alternators
