vibration sensor problem?

we have a veritas r8 home alarm system installed just before we moved in 8 yrs ago (works fine), but in last 2 weeks, 1 of the vibration sensors on large patio window has triggered intermittently 4 times during night, (different nights, and times !) can you help please ?
