battery won't charge?

I have a Napco P800 and the battery will not charge while connected to the system. I have purchased 2 new batteries thinking it was the battery itself and finally I decided to disconnect the battery and use an outside battery charger to charge the battery. The battery itself charges fine and will work until it loses it's charge because the alarm system is not charging it like it should. Is the panel bad, or is there something else I need to look at as the culprit? I also found 2 plugs that seem to have something to do with the alarm system. Does anyone know what TWO different electrical plugs are needed for?

It seems as though the battery fuse has blown.

Don't know this panel so can't help with the location of the fuses I'm afraid.

It should be a 'glass' fuse somewhere on the circuit board, (there'll usually be 3or4 side by side?)

Looking at them will not tell you if any are blown or not, a meter is needed with the fuse removed for testing.

Don't forget the MAINS ELECTRICITY inside the control panel

let me see if i got this right, you have a plug to power your alarm system?is this right??a 13 amp plug,is that what your saying?

There seems to be power getting to the panel. When I plug it back in without the battery attached, all the lights are flashing.

where do I find a fuse?

If the battery is going flat, it must be running the system, check the fuse, power to the unit
