I took the dispenser apart as it was blocked with powder etc but when I reassembled the dispenser I noticed there was an adjustment lever on top of the diespenser which I hadnt noticed.
The lever has settings Plus to Minus 3 and seems to set the cold water fill direction in the soap dispenser which has settings a b c d and is connected directly by a lever to the cycle programmer. Does anyone know how this should be set

connect the machine with the lid off and set it to a prewash program and whilst it is filling adjust it to the letter that lets the best flow of water in through the prewash compartment.then select main wash program and do the same
