Temperature inside car is boiling, heating dial on cold?

Ford KA - the heating dial inside the car is turned to cold but hot air is coming through the vents. The engine appears normal temperature and the car is running smoothly any ideas? Thermostat gone? Fuse blown? Before taking it to Fords, any ideas? Please help...
