Thank you, Yesterday I heard a slight whistle sound where the main control wheel is on the front of this superb machine. When I returned, I found it had stopped turning but the programme cycle was continuing. The water was drained etc, but no spin or revolving drum?

I have had this since new, and have had no probs at all, in fact no probs even before it stopped expect for the slight whistle or whinning sound.

Is there any chance this could be fixed? I'm hoping it is a component wear rather than a total breakdown beyond economical diy etc...
