I just got a new Compaq Presario CQ56 and the touch pad keeps freezing up and the coursor won't move or is very hard to move. The external mouse will work for a while, then it doesnt move properly, it seems to go crazy moving everywhere..
its windows 7...has been doing this since i first got it! If i restore it back to the very original, i will have to re download everything..do u think i should go ahead and do that> it does have virus software

is it working on xp/windows 7 / ect? you could try a system restore " on it, it should take it back to when it was working fine, do you have a up todate anti virus on it ..
