how to fix rover 25 starting problem?

my rover 25 has an intermiten starting problem manly first thing in the morning i try to start it and a light flashes on the dash and the doors lock. the car does start but can take a few tries.

depending on what year the r25 is it could be a fualty bcu which causes alot of electrical problems.
