bypassing oil cooler ?when inlet and outlet pipe r taken of oil cooler and joined what happens oil cooler where pipes came off do cap them or not.astradti 17 xreg.
oilcooler is bypassed sucessfully it only cools oil for very hot tempratures .it does not need to go through oil cooler its the seals that wears out.i have known oil cooler to be bypassed and it has solved the problem.

oil cooler is there for a reason,go to a scrappy and get another one
