How to remove the whole breaking system from Peugeot 406 Deisel?

My back brakes are all completely rusted including back plates. I have located one in a breakers yard and my mechanic recomends removing the whole lot ,hubs and all and he will remove the back plates. How do I do this and what tools would I need?
