The main oven element is heating but the main oven fan is not rotating,does this mean the fan has a fault and needs replacing.

TURN OFF
remove 4 screws on back panel and lamp cover. loosen lower clamp screw, undo screw at top of element, withdraw element slowly, swop the 2 wires over. refit in reverse
