2004 renault scenic?

my card reader is now saying no card detected eventually get it to go but must be faulty, how do i fix?

could be the card,do you have another to try? if not the reader can be dis-assembled with care. A wee hint here...any card reader from the scrappy will do,the info needed to start the car is stored in the car's ECU not the reader itself.
