how can i fix my rover46?

i have a rover 45 we recently had the head gasket changed now it runs perfectly but when i stop at a juntion or traffic lights it over revs.

does it only rev high when standing idle? if it does then i would recomend cleaning the idle control motor if that fails then you will need to replace it..
