My washing machine just won't start this morning...when i chose a program the dial simply advances a couple of places and then stops completely. No water is being pumped into the machine and the door wont even lock properly even though it clicks when closed.

Can anyone please advise me of what the problem could be,

this could be a door lock issue or an inlet valve issue
