The power button is flashing on and off and will not set the alarm what does this mean?

I agree GTS, The Veritas, is not a great panel, its aimed at the low budget domestic market, and they do fail regulary, which is why i wont touch the Texecom Premier, you cant tell me the build quality changes.
Scantronic 9853 vs Texecom Premier no contest the scantronic wins hands down.
Most engineers dont like Scantronic, now im talking about the younger clue-less generation, because there is no menu to scroll through, and generally find them too complicated to install.
Scantronic are outstanding , There is no contest between Texecom and Scantronic.

and i did not care too much about the money,it was my company rep that is important,you know as well as i do,you are only as good as your last job,word of mouth is what gets us our work,we have never advertised,never in 37 years,but if you get unhappy customers,the word spreads,as am sure you know,so,stick to the good gear,amat victoria curam,(victory loves preparation)

and i do know that most of complaints are users related ,but not all are,some are very justified,so i stick to good panels,at least i know they will work,veritas are good for your dog kennels,garden sheds,ect,and it seems for you mate

tell you in one word acorn ,experience,i lost £1000. in sales due to their panels,fitted two of them both failed,i was given their top of range panel in compo,it failed after two weeks,software prob they told me,no acorn,as far as am concerned they are crap,as i told them so in an email,if you think they are great,thats fine,you fit them,but dont moan on here when users come on here to complain.and by god do they complain !

Why on earth do you have such a down on the Veritas panel?

It does serve a purpose and works well. In general a well made and very simple to use panel for the DIY market and low level Alarm Cos. :-)

The problems we see here are mostly caused by people who fit/have them fitted and then think they know it all, until it goes wrong.
