circular saw sparks alot?

I have a Porter cable saw that just recently starting throwing an unusual amount of sparks. Pulled the brushes out, there is plenty of meat on them, but they are a little rough. Any ideas if it is worth fixing?

Highly likely one of the field coils is gone-if so it will be running about 1/2 speed or less
Usually cheaper to buy new than source spares and repair
