Same problem with mine, Take of the allen key screws at the base and the first nut on the blade. Then take the blades out make sure their not bent. Put a srew driver in the gear holes and turn. If turning put together. Don't hit tough branches as I have done. Cause the blades skip off the gear. Careful when taking apart as lots of little parts.
