My beko wm5120s washing machine will not cancel or restart any wash. Start/pause button light staying on and spin/end button also staying on. Every now and then machine males a noise like its about to do something but never does. I've tried holding restart button, emptying filter at front by removing plug and checking child lock buttons

I have a Beko 620 and it did the same thing to me yesterday - I had to turn it off and then after a few mins the door lock releases and i could get my clothes out - they had not spun properly as i didn't have enough clothes in the drum so i added some more clothes, turned it back on and eventually it ended the programme after another couple of "false starts". It seems OK now. So maybe try adding more clothes?
