Hi, I have a 2003 TDI galaxy and when ford fitted a tow bar they dis connected the parking sensors as it was non detachable. does anyone no how to reconnect them without me having to go back to the garage ? Many thanks in advance.

I have a fixed towbar and reverse sensors work fine HOWEVER if the electrical connections are on a bracket at the side it doesn't.move the connector below the bottom of the rear bumper and they work great.Have they pulled a fuse?.Might be worth joining the owners club for info

its possible, they dis-connected it because the tow bar is protruding out so as to make sensors inaccurate in measuring the distance as you are reversing or they needed the power supply. you could go to garage and ask them, or do as us mear mortals do, and learn how to reverse without them or do as toyota do to some of their cars and fit a rear mirror.
