We have similar product situation. Fridge/freezer was covered under British Gas 'homecare' agreement.
1. BG refrigeration engineer inspected machine and declared that it had an internal gas leak (not dangerous) and there was no gas left.
2. He said that because of the design of this Samsung American fridge/freezer, the gas pipework was all "internal" and could not be re-gassed. i.e. The machine needed to be replaced.
3. I would like to have this confirmed by Samsung, because these machines are costly, and I'm surprised that Samsung didn't design a re-gassing process into the construction. - If not, it's going to the dump - very sad...
