I have a champion lawnmower which (unfortunately and stupidly) I let run down on the oil. It started smoking on last use and so I checked it and filled it up.
It won't start at all now?
Is it worth taking into a shop to get fixed or is it buggered now?

If it's scored the bore (very likely), repair is technically possible, but definitely not worth it. A new engine will be (much) cheaper.
