No done it on one in our sun room a settee that transfers in to a bed and the plastic cups the slats are in (if its the same fixings each end) pull out, just pull out one cap, then take a slat to either timber yard get same size cut but it won't have curve in it. Or try somewhere like Ikea casualty corner we got some from them 50p each.
