Replaced lock mechanism still flashing 4 times is there a reset process, tried turning power off and on again, banging on the top a spitting in the back! ?

was there a big brown patch in the middle of the old door interlock?.If there was and it still flashes 4 it might of blown the triac on the main pcb.This happens a lot!!
