setting up carbs?

i have put a new thottle cable on my 1979 kawasaki kh250, how do i adjust the slides to balance out the carbs.

If its anything like a GT380 then have a look at the side of each carb body halfway up, should be a small glass window or a screw type plug that you remove so that when the slide moves upwards a dot drilled into the slide will appear in the window/hole, turn each cable adjuster on top of each carb in or out until all three dots appear at exactly the same time, think there's a locknut on each cable adjuster, you may have to adjust the tickover afterwards.
