When put on a normal 40 degree wash went as far as the spin cycle and then stopped. The spin light remained on but was not flashing. The only way to get rid of the water was to drain the machine manually. Friend removed the motor and bushes were badly worn and the com was dirty. He replaced the brushes and cleaned the com but the fault remains and is still stopping in the same place at the spin cycle. Is there a reset for this fault?

have you checked the drain pump and filter if fitted.No drain no spin and flashes error
