The programming of my CH and HW system is controlled by a Randall/Danfoss 4033 unit. I know that being an analogue system it is old technology but it does the job. The clock mechanism has just stopped working so it is no longer programmable although everything else is working fine. This had happened about 5 years ago and I replaced the unit so I am concerned that it has happened again. Are there any other fixes other than replacing the unit?

i am having exactly the same problem and after dismantling the timer mechanism i discovered that one of the cogs had broken in the timer gears, if i could only find a cog to fit ,theres about 10 in the system of various sizes, maybe a hobby shop could help me. to anyone who did,nt know, after undoing the 2 screws at the top of the unit the main box lifts out and leaves the wireing box intact.
