my tumble dryer will not turn on its own,but will work when given a slight push,when working it seems not to make any noise,it will then keep turning until finished...the machine seems to spin at different speeds....

dont worry about speed too much, what you need is a start up capacitor,this is the silvery looking cylinder with 2 terminals on it. you will find it down below attached to the motor and should not be too difficult to obtain.a very common fault will 99% guarantee a repair
