I have this dryer and when mine was behaving like yours I took the back panel off and turned the dryer on. My ignitor did not glow orange when turned on, which it should. I unplugged the dryer, turned off the gas and replaced the ignitor (round piece, about the size of a quater and 1/4 thick, which has two wires and two brackets attached to it, it is on the air in take to the drum (right side) about 3/4 of the way up near the center) had to order from Sears wharehouse took about 10 days to come in
