It may be that the outer door handle is not broken. This model of Megane features a way of locking the rear doors if the central locking fails. This consists of a phillips headed screw next to the lock (impossible to access with door shut) which if turned a quarter turn disconnects the outer door handle. Wouldent it be nice if this and the child lock were interlinked so you couldent use both at once thus permenently locking the door shut. I would use Davy Bacons method shown above or consult a car thief if you have no luck yourself.

I cut a long strip of thin plastic (about 30mm wide and 300mm long) from the lid of a large frozen ice cream tub to push through the door gap and push the little steel lever across from outside of car toward car interior. get your bearings by practicing on the other open door. You need to negotiate around a couple of bends an miss the door lock and screws etc. your outer door handle is obviously bust so open the window and keep checking the inner door handle,I was successful after 2 mins.Best of luck to you, I get the impression renault locks are not the best of quality
