The belt cannot be fixed. You will need to get a new belt. You could replace it yourself, But it takes a bit of doing. As you know the belt has broke, you can see where it has to go. It might be possible to very carefully and slowly get it on without any changes to anything else. BUT easier if you release the tension first. If you are not happy to change it your self, Get someone in. Thats what the trade people are trained to do
