My engine won't start with my key. However the central locking works perfectly. Replaced battery today but no joy. Have put key in ignition - locked and unlocked doors - still no joy.

Using my spare key now to start engine.

What's wrong with it??!!

have you dropped your key? there is a small chip inside the key housing,i had this problem before everything was working ok like you said above and i dropped my keys and the chip fell out lucky for me i was able to to locate it and the car worked fine again hope this a help
