reconnecting clutch cable on mountfield lawnmower?

how do i reattach the clutch cable on my mountfield self propelled lawnmower.cant see any way of getting to it

Colin,

You need to remove the rear wheels and drive assembly inside each. Take off the spring from the drive motor and remove the drive belt. The drive motor will come out and you can connect the cable.
