2001 transit gearbox connections?

2001 transit gearbox connections, there is a pipe come adrift and i think maybe it is causing a problem with gear shifting, as i can only get 1st and second and the gear lever has become very stiff

inside the top housing of the g/box are two needle roller bearings which are bad for seizing up,six 10mm bolts hold it onto the box
