No you can't buy just the springs. The spring comes complete with the rod and plastic hanger. Just swap them over one corner at a time. Make sure you put the wire harness behind the plastic retainer on the right rear one and put the small spring over to the new rod opposite the balance switch & hook it on to the drum top. This keeps the bowl away from the balance switch to prevent unnecessary out of balance stops.

i cant get the top right off -wires and things at the back -but i can see the four rods holding the tub -and one small spring opp. the balance switch.
how on earth do i get to the 4 bottom springs to change them --turn the m/c upside down ?

thanks again

If the bearings are ok (you can tell by the noise when on fast spin. Noisy is bad - quiet is good) then try bouncing the bowl up & down. If the springs feel weak change them. Worn springs will make it go out of balance easily. Raise the top by removing two screws under the plastic plugs at the front of top deck. Remove the lid. Then release two clips on back of panel and pull up. Get someone to hold it up while you replace the springs. They are easy to change.
