hi guys i bought a corsa c off a mechanic 3 months ago. as well as having to replace near enough everything on the engine i have a serious leak going in the back of my dash and my driver footwell is like a swimming pool. i can just drive down the road and my whole dash disappears or my fog light service light etc all come on. ive tried siliconing around my steering column, but no success. any1 have any ideas where it is coming from?

One piece of advice, if you know nothing about cars, which is obvious by your question that you don't. Get some who does know, to check it over for you so you don't waste you cash on a heap like you've bought. Corsas have usually been thrashed to within an inch of their lives by garry boys. As for the mechanic, why do you think he sold it, because he knew it was on its last legs. You have learned an expensive lesson. Cut your loss and take it to the scrappy and buy another car, but get it checked before parting with your dosh
