the brush is not ging round?

my dyson dc14 is sucking but the brushes are not going round but the bets ok

Chech the position of the clutch switch ensuring that it is not in the back (OFF) position this is a common problem when you put the cleaner into the floor position the switch should move from nuetral position to the on position. if that is ok and the roller brushes are still not moving you will need to buy a clutch (around £26.00)

Sounds as though you need a new clutch.
The clutch comes with new belts and is attached to the knob that you move to go from wood floors to carpets. A bit fiddly to change, but do-able and costs under a tenner from ebay sellers
