Hi i have a vanette 400/2 hob in my caravan, when i light one of the hobs and let go of the control knob the gas goes out. I have checked the thermol cupler and it works fine, cleaned the jet on the hob end and the small jet at the end that the control knob fits to. can anyone help please. thanks Baz

If it still does not stay on after holding down the control knob for 10/15 secs then the thermocoupler must be the fault as that's the fail safe no flame the gas gets cut off. Replace it and if it still does it conact a gas engineer who is gas safe registered to work on LPG equipment as well as the natural house gas.

light it and keep the knob pressed for 10 seconds and see what happens
