Cannot be motor brushes as induction motors do not have them. If clearing pump does not sort it, send your module for test £5+vat www.emwelec.co.uk

Your problem is likely to be one of two things :-
1/ Motor brushes have worn out. These are cheap and usually fairly easy to replace.
2/ The outlet pump is jammed with stray hair clips and coins. Follow the outlet hose backwards to find it, remove hose/s and remove debris. Check pump spins by hand.
