How do you replace the brushes on a siemens washing machine? I've been advised that you do not remove the motor.

Youtube has videos of this - in the videos they take the motor out to change the brushes - presumably because they can't get a camera inside while the work is being done.

You can access the motor from below by laying the machine on its side or by taking the back off
