I am finding it hard to select gear on my Maxus. The gears just crunch. Is it worth fitting a new slave cylinder before I go to the expense of a new cluctch?
Ldv maxus is jumping out of fifth gear , more when travelling slow or going over potholes etc , but steadily getting worse ! Please advise if new gear box needed or is a quicker fix out there , :-) cheers

I've kind of broken two hired LDV Maxus's in the space of the last 36 hours. The slave cylinder was shot on the first one and the second was jumping out of 5th and then the gear stick effectively came off in my hand when I tried to get it into reverse. I don't know if I'm just a crap driver, if the vans have taken a battering anyway been hire vans or if it is just a poor design. Maybe a bit of all three?!!
