How can i fix my Smiths Westminster chime mantle clock?

My mantle clock strikes 7 minutes late! How can I correct this myself? I have taken the hands off and rotated the square nut until the minute hand is at 12 when replaced but this does not seem to have solved the problem.

yes, without allowing the square center boss in the minute finger to move its position, if you solder on the back of the finger the repair should not show, allow the solder to fully set before refitting finger
NEVER EVER TURN THE FINGERS BACKWARDS

Thank you. I managed to sort it last night so just need to solder the minute hand.

you are doing the right thing you may need a couple of try's to get it in the right position ,the square in the middle of the finger is a friction fit this has come loose.
Allow the clock to get to a strike position, stop the clock, remove the minute finger and move the square a little bit refit has the finger moved closer to the strike position ? If yes remove finger turn square some more keep trying till finger is in the right position when happy need to apply a small blob of solder to the back of the minute finger and center boss
