how can i fix my peugeot xp6 ?

i want to stop my peugeot xp6 from missfireing. it is a 50cc 2 stroke. when i put the revs up it seems to spit and pop from the exaust. it also seems to get very hot

the spark is good. it has had an sports exaused fitted by a previous owner but that is not the problem as it has worked well in the past with it on. i think the air box and fillter are standerd

it sounds like it either needs a new spark plug in it or the engine is running weak i.e the fuel air mixture has more air than it should have,is the airbox and filter standard and is the exhaust pipe standard ?
