An independant garage will charge around £30 to connect it up to the diagnostic reader, this will determine the fault, then as for how much to fix? it will depend on what the reader shows up, so it's a bit like asking how long is a bit of string?? it might be a £20 sensor or it could be a £300 ecu!!
