can anyone advise me what to try it sometimes fires up but will not run

check the tension on the 'dead mans handle'cable that cuts the Ignition and runs down to the engine My mower suffered the same problem,I could not find any adjustment on the mower or cable itself but a clothes peg on the cable by the handle tightened up the cable up enough to solve the problem
