indicator on my 2001 Y reg, peugeot 206 comes on irregularly??

i know that you have to remove the steering column casing, but does anyone know what size star * piece to use, and infact if it is a star piece? It was on the peugeot 106 when i had this same problem, but on the 206 im not sure

Hi Chris,
Does the lamps stay on on one side even when the ignition is off. If it does an electrician has diagnosed it as the printed circuit inside the auxilliary fuse box; below the main fuse box. Very expensive so I am looking for one.
