remove the end plate on the gearbox, then just in from that before you get to where the bell housing bolts fit you will see some more bolts remove all them that you can see then the gearbox should split apart there will be some gasket sealent between the 2 parts this may make it hard to split but just get a flat screwdriver in the gap and it it with a hammer untill it starts to split then move around the box doing the same all the way round, this is how i have always done them in the garage and i have been a mechanic for 8 years and not had a problem doing it that way hahaha hope this helps you
